Mama's Milk - Breastfeeding Herbal Capsules
This Naturopath formulated herbal compound blend contains nourishing galactagogue herbs to support a plentiful breastmilk supply, and bring calm to a windy or colicky baby.
The word galactagogue comes from the Greek meaning ‘milk promoting’ and is understood to be a substance that promotes lactation in humans and other animals. Galactagogues have a long history of use and are thought to work by increasing prolactin release. Prolactin is a hormone that gets released into the blood stream in response to the suckling stimulus on the nipple.
