Baby’s Bum Balm
Every baby's bottom needs a balm. Given that it's put on a baby's skin all day, every day for months to years, what's in it matters.
What is it?
This super smooth, spreadable bum balm delivers the goods with just 5 natural ingredients. It helps in 2 ways.
It soothes and helps heal any inflamed or irritated skin, no thanks to nappy rash. At the same time it provides a protective barrier to moisture. This helps prevent the cycle from repeating.
Chamomile and Calendula are renowned for their skin healing, anti-inflammatory and soothing herby powers.
Zinc oxide is a naturally occurring mineral. It has both astringent and soothing qualities. Plus it's insoluble which means it's able to form a barrier when blended with the herb-infused oils and the organic beeswax. Bum barriers are a baby's friend.
Comes in 12gm tin or 15gm stick.
'Seconds' sticks are slightly imperfect finished products. As these are hand poured, the seconds often don't have a completely smooth finish to the top of the balm. There may be a small hole in the centre or slight clumping of the balm. Only because of how its set. The balm works exactly the same and it's usually just the initial 2-5mm of the stick affected. The semi-perfectionist in me had to call it and create a 'seconds' option.
What's in it?
Contains: Chamomile flowers* (Matricaria recutita), Calendula petals* (Calendula officinalis) infused in Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Fruit Oil (Olea Europaea), Zinc Oxide, Beeswax* (Cera Alba), Natural Vitamin E (D-alpha-Tocopherol)
*Australian Certified Organic
Where's the essential oils? This bum balm intentionally has none added as it's made for baby's skin and genital area. Plus they're not needed here. If it's the scent you're after the herb-infused oils and beeswax gives a lovely subtle scent.
