Regular Mama - Digestive Herbal Tea
*Due back in stock 11th Dec
Has pregnancy taken your bowels to a grinding halt?
Constipation is common during pregnancy because of the action of the hormones.
They decrease the mobility of the gut and as your uterus (and baby) continue to expand, pressure is placed on your bowel. No fun.
Keeping your bowels active throughout pregnancy can help ward off any pesky haemorrhoids.
Not to mention keep you a lot more comfortable. And allow you to keep eating.

What's in it?
Contains: Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), Dandelion Root roasted (Taraxacum officinalis), Fennel seeds (Foeniculum vulgare), Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis), Marshmallow root (Althea officinalis), Peppermint (Mentha piperita)
This blend 100% Australian Certified Organic
How to use
This tea is suitable from 12 weeks onwards.
Due to the high amount of root and seeds in this blend, it's best used as an infusion. This allows a higher extraction of the herb's properties.
An infusion differs from a tea in that a larger batch is usually made once very 24 hours, using slightly more herbs and steeping for a longer time.
Pour boiling water over the herbs and let it sit for 4-8 hours. A large tea pot or saucepan with a lid is suitable. Once cooled, move the vessel to the fridge.
To drink, strain some off into a cup. Top up with boiling water for warmth and to dilute if the taste is too strong.
Discard any leftovers after 24 hours and repeat process.
For optimal effects, drink 3 cups throughout the day before or with meals.
May be served warm, cold or iced. Add honey and/or lemon to taste if you wish.
